In 2025, Tourism’s Horizon: Travel for the Millions, the Substack blog and “Good Tourism” Insight Partner, published a book of the same name compiled by its founder Dr Jim Butcher.

The book is divided into two parts: a collection of in-depth interviews with leading scholars reflecting on the evolution and future of tourism; and a series of thought-provoking essays drawn from the TH:TM Substack and The “Good Tourism” Blog.

Archived below are the “GT” Insights that were adapted for the Tourism’s Horizon: Travel for the Millions book, and the TH:TM interview summaries and reflections published as “GT” Insights. Enjoy this collection and know that there is so much more content in the TH:TM book, which is available in print and electronic formats.
